Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Plisir handles personal data. It covers two distinct situations, and it is worth keeping them separate because the answers are different:
- This website (plisir.com), which is a corporate information site.
- Our advertising and monetization services, which operate on the websites and applications of our publisher and retailer partners.
1. Who we are
Plisir operates a commerce advertising network across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina.
Controller: [Registered legal entity name] — [company registration number] — [registered address].
For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to contact@plisir.com.
2. This website
As of the date shown at the top of this page, plisir.com is a static website. It does not host forms, does not run analytics or advertising tags, and does not embed third-party scripts, fonts or media. As a result:
- We do not set cookies or use any equivalent local storage identifier on this site.
- We do not build profiles of visitors to this site.
- We do not share information about visitors to this site with third parties for marketing purposes.
Our hosting provider processes standard server request data — including IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for the purpose of delivering the site, maintaining security and preventing abuse. This is a normal and necessary part of serving any website. We do not use that data to identify individual visitors.
Website analytics (planned, not yet active)
We intend to introduce analytics on this website in order to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive.
When it goes live, we will process aggregate usage data — page views, referring source, approximate country or region derived from IP address, and device and browser type. The legal basis will be consent where applicable law requires it for analytics identifiers, collected through a consent banner before anything non-essential is stored; otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding how our own website is used.
Website analytics will be kept strictly separate from the advertising services described in section 3. We will not use it to build advertising profiles of visitors to this site, and we will not join it to advertising data.
This section and our Cookie Policy will be updated on the day the tool goes live, naming the provider and the retention period.
If you email us
If you write to contact@plisir.com, we process the contents of your message, your email address and any details you choose to include, for the purpose of responding to you and, where relevant, evaluating a commercial or employment relationship.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us, and, where a contract is being discussed, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
We retain business correspondence for as long as the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and legal defence purposes.
3. Our advertising services
Separately from this website, Plisir operates advertising technology on the websites and applications of our partners. If you encountered Plisir there, the following applies.
What is processed
Depending on the service and on the consent or preference signals available, this may include:
- Online identifiers such as cookie IDs, mobile advertising identifiers and IP address.
- Technical information about the device, browser, operating system and connection.
- Approximate location derived from IP address or, where separately consented, more precise location.
- Information about interactions with content and advertising, such as pages viewed, categories browsed, and advertisements shown or clicked.
Why it is processed
- To select and deliver advertising that is relevant to the context and, where permitted, to inferred interests.
- To limit how often the same advertisement is shown to the same device.
- To measure delivery, performance and, where applicable, whether an advertisement contributed to a purchase or store visit.
- To detect and prevent fraud, invalid traffic and security incidents.
- To produce aggregated reporting for publishers, retailers and advertisers.
Legal bases
Where the applicable law requires consent for advertising identifiers — including under the GDPR and equivalent frameworks — that consent is collected by the publisher or retailer operating the property you are visiting, and transmitted to us through recognised consent frameworks. Where consent is not the applicable basis, we rely on legitimate interests in operating and measuring advertising, balanced against your rights and subject to the objection right described below.
In Brazil, processing is carried out under the bases set out in the LGPD. In applicable United States jurisdictions, we honour opt-out preference signals for sale and sharing of personal information as required by state law.
4. Sharing
We share personal data with:
- Publishers and retailers whose properties you visited, in aggregated or contractually limited form.
- Advertisers and their agencies, in aggregated reporting form.
- Demand and supply platforms, exchanges and measurement providers necessary to operate the advertising services.
- Service providers for hosting, storage, security and support, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities, where legally required.
We do not sell personal data in exchange for money.
5. International transfers
Our operations span five countries and our infrastructure providers operate globally. Personal data may therefore be transferred outside the country where it was collected, including to the United States and the European Union.
Where such transfers are subject to legal restrictions, we rely on the transfer mechanisms recognised under the applicable regime, including standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, and in line with the retention periods agreed with our partners. Advertising identifiers and associated event data are retained for a limited period and then deleted or irreversibly aggregated.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for advertising.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
- Request portability of data you provided.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising, where applicable under United States state law.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of them, write to contact@plisir.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law. We may need to ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process the personal data of children for advertising purposes. Properties in our network are required to identify child-directed content so that it is excluded from personalised advertising.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit, network segregation and logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be signalled on this page.
